Sparks Electrical Engineering LLC is veteran owned and began services to its clients in 2013.

The owner Mr Sparks is generally considered as the proverbial Swiss army knife of an electrical engineer.

Since 1994, his experience has included: Developed Electrical Safety Programs for 2 different publicly traded companies, Led teams of engineers, Led teams of designers, Led teams of electrical project engineers, Personnel Management, Team Building, Mentoring, Training Development, Contract Management, Project Management, Scopes of Work, Schedules & Budgets, Project Engineering, Proposals (RFP & RFQs), Stage Gate management, CAPEX and OPEX coordination/oversight, Electrical Engineering Manager for over 3M sqft of military bases and 21 US facilities and 1 Canada facility, Principal Project Director, Principal Electrical Engineer, Led electricians and engineers in an active warzone. Electrical SME, Electrical Instructor, Electrical Safety Training, Electrical Power Engineering, Electrical Design Supervision, Electrical Engineering, Power Distribution Design, Industrial Electrical Power System Design (50Hz and 60Hz), P&ID development, Start-Up Commissioning, and creating Computer Models in ETAP, SKM, and EasyPower of Electrical Power Systems for analysis. Provided gap assessments that included recommendations for Arc Flash Energy Reduction, NFPA 70E Compliance,  NFPA 70B Compliance (electrical maintenance), and NEC Compliance. 

He has held a security clearance with the DOD. He holds an electrical instructor license in the state of WA. He has a MBA with additional master level certificates in Global Leadership and Project Management

He is a licensed professional electrical engineer in WA, CA, ID, AZ, CO, OK, TX, NY, SC, IA. He also holds a NCEES license which allows the flexibility to get an additional electrical engineering license with another state.
